This Stainless Steel over centre catch can be used as a secure way to hold down a Camper van pop top roof. It also has 10mm of adjustment to allow you to tension the top as necessary.

This latch can also be locked in place with a sprung-loaded safety pin, that can be passed through the latch when it is in the closed position.  This will mean that the latch can't work lose and pop open when you're driving.
